 2004 promises to be one of the better seasons for ducks and geese with water levels up and a good breeding season. The only down side right at this time is there has been little harvest completed and with the cool wet weather a lot of fields are not ready to swath. Those great field shoots are a couple of weeks off until our farmers can get rolling. I have heard that the south west has a fair start on the harvest but I know the east and north centeral are well behind but thats farming.
